  1. Congratulations, soldier!  By qualifying expert with the
  2. M16 you are eligible to attend advanced marksmanship
  3. school.

  5. You've spent the last three weeks learning the
  6. capabilities, employment, and use of expert marksman in
  7. combat.  During this time you were trained and tested on
  8. target identification and selection, how to construct and 
  9. wear a Ghillie suit, and how to construct and utilize a
  10. hide position.

  12. Now it is time to become familiar and qualify with one of 
  13. the basic tools, the M24 Weapon System.
  14.  
  15. Task:  Familiarize and qualify with the M24 Weapon
  16. System.
  17.  
  18. Conditions: In unlimited visibility, detect and engage
  19. targets at extreme distances (300m to 800m).  You will
  20. have up to 20 rounds in order to familiarize yourself
  21. with the weapon, but only one shot for qualification.

  23. Standard: Given one 7.62mm round detect and engage one
  24. man size silhouette at an extreme distance.
